Vandaag donderdag 11 december 2025 is onze goede vriend Ron, N7UDJ, op 85-jarige leeftijd overleden. 25 jaar geleden, in het speciale jaar 2000, stond mijn vrouw en ikzelf nog bij zijn thuis aan de voordeur, in de mooie stad Sun City, Arizona. Het was de mooiste reis en de mooiste tijd van ons leven.

Today, Thursday, December 11, 2025, our good friend Ron, N7UDJ, passed away at the age of 85. 25 years ago, in the special year 2000, my wife and I stood at his doorstep in the beautiful town of Sun City, Arizona. It was the most wonderful trip and the most wonderful time of our lives.
Rest in peace dear friend and buddy.

About our best friend …
Ronald Arsenault, 85, son of the late Neil and Emily (LaBelle) Arsenault, passed away on December 11, 2025 at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, AZ.
Ron, originally from the Albany, NY area, served proudly in the United States Navy. He returned to the Albany area where he was employed by the New York Telephone Company and was a member of the New York Telephone Pioneers of America. Ron retired in 1990 and relocated to Sun City, AZ where he pursued his life long passion of ham radios, photography, computers, traveling and helping others with computer repairs. He was a member of the Sun City West Valley ARC Emergency Communications Radio Club and DMR Radio Network.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandy Arsenault, his daughters Wendy Murphy and Tina Arsenault, grandchildren Kayla Bezio (Brandon) and Jessica Paull (Robert), and great grandchildren Westin Bezio, Waylon Bezio, brother Alan Arsenault and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Neil Arsenault, Raymond Arsenault, Mary Zadrick and Carol Gordon. He was also predeceased by his grand-dog and cherished family member Star, whom he loved very much.
